Twitter is part of web my 2.0 marketing. I use it for up to the minute things that I want to share. Say, I have a material that I am working on. I retweet this to people and other things. I am new to Twitter. I have just accepted those who have befriended me. In a short while, I may be having twenty additional friends there.

In Twitter, I retweet all these things to all my followers. I am all about keeping things as leveraged as possible and making one post here and then having it pushed out to all of the different web 2.0 networks I have apart from my SEO blog.

Whatever I do in Twitter gets pushed to Facebook. If you are keen to observe, you can integrate Facebook and Twitter. Whatever I tweet gets fed on Facebook. You will see it as a status update. Some of my friends get a little bit frustrated because they just feel like I am constantly spamming them because I’m appearing in their little news feed.

I do my best to make them understand that my Facebook is not exclusive. I also use it for my clients. So I’ve got a lot more of a following in Facebook than I do on Twitter because I’ve been doing it for a little bit longer. But I do that so my SEO company clients, for one, can connect with me and realize that I’m a real person. I post there my personal photos of what I did in the holidays and the things that I do and I also engage with my friends in that list. I see this a means for me to connect and socialize with them.

To share what I do up to date or up to the minute, I use Twitter. Secondly, I use Facebook more as I’m a real person. I give the impression they can get to know me and not only my SEO services. As I resort to web 2.0 marketing, my life is an open book. There is nothing I hide.

Is your list loaded with a lot of friends? This is the coming back to something that Ed Dale has once shared. He explained that we should learn how to limit the number of our friends. What happened to him is that he kept on accepting friends. Because of this, he was unable to get the updates from friends that he really wants to track. He has three thousand friends and it seems that his updates are messy. If you have a lot of friends, it will difficult for you know who your real friends are.

Facebook then evolved and set up fan pages to try and combat this issue. I still haven’t swapped over to fan pages. Once we get up to five thousand friends, then we’ll probably swap over to a fan page. At the moment, I use my Facebook page to connect with people and as a web 2.0 marketing tool, they can see what I’m doing and put the photos there and that sort of thing. That’s how we use Twitter and Facebook. The next one that I use is one called Posterous. Posterous is a fantastic service that enables you to send an email attaching any kind of multi-media.

Most SEO specialists overlook the importance of landing page optimization especially that it is very essential to any website. This specific process cannot only drive traffic to your website. If done properly, it can even increase the conversion rate that your webpages or website may currently have.

What is a landing page first of all? A landing page is a page anywhere on your site where a person will land. So they’ve typed in a keyword and they land on your web page. No matter where they land, if it is a deep page or a home page, that is a landing page.
